Curriculum/Brain-Based Learning
One,
Two or Three Day Workshops
One
day workshop: The morning session delights teachers with
a humorous look at the workings of student brains. Basic brain
biology and current reserach topics are included. The afternoon
session gives a step-by-step overview of one of the easiest
ways to implement brain-based strategies in the classroom -
Layered Curriculum. The afternoon session allows time
for participants to begin
construction on a unit of Layered Curriculum for their
classroom.

(above). The second day covers the topics of Memory Systems,
Problem solving and rubric design. Participants leave with a
nearly complete unit of Layered Curriculum for their classroom.

include: coach airfare, one day hotel (occasionally, 2 nights
depending on flight schedules), rental car expenses, and a per
diem for travel and presentation days.
2.

schedule varies depending on the time of year. August and June

fax) our travel arrangements will be made and you will be sent
a letter of confirmation. That's it.
